Bad Blogger

I admit, I have been a very bad blogger. Is it just me or did November just fly right by? I really can't believe that tomorrow is the 1st day of December.

The countdown is on.....

• Only 12 days until our annual holiday party at our home.


• 19 days left of school for the year


• 23 days until we go over the river and through the woods (yes, we are going to grandma's)


• Of course 25 days until the BIG day!

If I wasn't stressed enough my son has a hockey game every single day this week!

I was able to get my holiday decorations out this past weekend. I think it is some sort of record for me to have everything out, set-up, and boxes put back in the attic. I only put up three trees this year, and I am happy with it. I will leave you with a few pics of my decor. The pics aren't the best, but it will have to do for now.

Is It Really Tuesday?

I really can't believe it is Tuesday...where did Saturday, Sunday and Monday go? I spent the day Saturday hanging Christmas lights and decorations outside and Sunday we had a hockey game in Toledo. Unfortunately the hockey game didn't go so well for our team, but we were able to visit with our niece Jen while in Toledo. It is always a treat when our hockey travels allow us to visit with friends and family.



I don't want to leave without a photo, so here is what I have been working on today. They will be added to my shop tonight.

'Tis the Season..

I must admit I tend to go a little overboard with holiday decorations. Every year I say I am going to cut back and only put up one tree. When I say this my husband just looks at me with that look like...sure, I will believe it when I see it. He is right, I can't help it. All five trees must go up again this year. I decided to try an get a jump start this year and not wait until after Thanksgiving like I always do. Yes, Rebekah I will be posting photos of the progress and completion. First on the list is outside decor. I am sure this will be the last 65 degree day we will have until May, so I am going to take advantage of this unseasonal Michigan weather.



I better get going, I have this waiting for me in the attic.........

Finally!!

After resisting the whole blog thing for quite a long time....I finally caved and here I am. I can't promise daily postings, but I will do my best to keep this blog updated with info about me, my family, and my shop . I was not an english major by any stretch of the imagination, so I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors.

Speaking of my shop....Yes, my web-store is finally up and working. It has taken a lot longer than I expected to get up and running. I have many more things I will be adding in the next few days, so be sure to check back. I am always happy to take suggestions, so please feel free to drop me a line.
